Traffic exchanges are a great way to get traffic to your website or blog and it’s FREE.
If you follow my instructions you will be able to send approximately 600 people to your site with one hour of intensive clicking.

How traffic exchanges work?

You submit your site to a traffic exchange then you have to browse other members sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable your site(s) to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.

Finding the best exchanges on the net.

Actually you don’t have to look for it. A website called Traffic Hoopla ranks the top performing traffic exchanges on the net to date.
Join the the top ten exchanges for now from “1st join list” and ” 2nd join list”.
Tip: when signing up choose the same username, password and email address to save some time.

After you signed up to several exchanges you need to download FireFox which enables for you to surf using multiple browsers.(See tutorial on how to download FireFox).

Use the Multiple tab browsing facility by Firefox.

Open all these 10 traffic exchanges in tabs. Now using the “bookmark all tabs” under the tab “Bookmarks” you can bookmark them under some desired folder name. Next
time when you come online, you simply select this folder under “bookmarks” and click “open all in tabs”.With one click, all your traffic exchanges are open in tabs.

Speeding up your surfing | Using multiple browsers (tabs).
This little tool gives you info on the following: Your followers gender, their location, percent engaged, the time of the day when you tweet, get re-tweeted and mentioned, who your most influential followers are.
All you have to do is to allow access to your Twitter account and you’re ready to roll.
It’s pretty neat and FREE, however there is a more advanced version of Ad.ly Analytics with more features.

Engaged followers are your followers that actually view and interact with your tweets. Disengaged followers are those that have a low probably of viewing your tweets because they have been recognized as a bot, have abandoned their Twitter account, have been suspended from Twitter, or simply are following way too many people and have a polluted stream.

If an internet marketer connects with the right people, those social sites can provide the following benefits:

-Endless Free Lead Source. (Social sites are growing and new ones keep popping up)

-Residual Return On Your Time Investment. (I am still getting leads from articles that I wrote months ago.)

-Leverages The Power Of SEO.

-An Easy Way to Network with Influential Partners or Prospects. (Many people have really good connections, and carry a heavy influence.) These are the people you want to network with. That’s how you can build an instant downline in your organization.

-The Best Place To Learn How to Market Online. (If you are just starting out in this industry, and you don’t know what your target audience or your message is , a social site is the place to figure that all out…for FREE. This is a key factor, otherwise you will not get anywhere in this field.

The Process :

Step 1

On the social sites you are putting up content and providing value (it can be an educational video, an article…etc.) which guides them to your website, blog…etc.

Step 2

Your future prospects arrive at your website, where they read the information you intend to share. They (your target audience) look around and discover you have a bunch of relevant content. All this going to urge them to join your email list (by giving away their contact info by using your opt-in form) where you share exclusive information.

Step 3

Once they are on your email list, you keep giving them content, and make a sale by offering a product or service.

This is just a basic rundown, if you are open for more visit post about Mike Dillard’s Attraction Marketing!

Many people referring to Twitter and Facebook as social media which is confusing. This post is intended to clear the fog surrounding social media and social sites.

What Is Social Media?

Social Media are the platforms (tools) designed to share information or ideas, and interact with others on the net. Social media are things like a video, a podcast (which is a recorded audio- an interview for instance),chat rooms, social bookmarking…etc. The content that can be shared through these tools are audio, video, pictures, and written materials.

What is A Social Site?

A Social Site is place on the net (a website), where you go and use these social media (tools) to post your content or interact. Social sites are fundamentally the same: You are able to create a profile, share content, comment and interact on them. ( Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Digg….etc.)

These sites use different media:

Video Sharing sites: YouTube, MetaCafe

Micro-blogging: Twitter

Social Bookmarking: Digg, StumbleUpon

Article Directories: Ezine Articles, Buzzle

Pictures: Flickr, Facebook

Interacting: Twitter, Facebook

How Do You Lead People To Your Website?

When you post content in any form of social media (video, audio, text..etc), you will attract people who are interested in that content. Each of these social sites allow you to put up your website’s link in your profile or content. That’s kind of a pay off for you. It’s a way a social site appreciates you being there on their site. You are using these sites to promote whatever you like.

If you’re reading this you have an internet connection, and if you are online you have probably come across the term “Social Media”.

Sites like Twitter and Facebook are huge cyber parties where people go to take a mental break from their everyday world. They go there because they want to have fun and be entertained. When mingling through these social networking sites you need to behave as a guest would at a party.

If you drag your unhappiness and negativity to Twitter, nobody will want to engage in a conversation with you. Other “guests” don’t want you there bringing everyone down.

Also, if you are an internet marketer, and every other tweet you put out is a sales pitch of a new “cutting edge” business opportunity, you are going to look like a complete a$$. You wouldn’t do that at a party right? It would be embarrassing, right? Still many marketers keep doing just that, wondering why they are reported as spammers.

If you come from a place where you exhibit some nice content (useful articles, videos, anything funny) you will leave a good taste in their mouth, and they will be more likely to remember you.

You can’t fake this. Don’t do this because you wanna be liked, but because this is who you are. Contribute great stuff knowing that there is nothing in it for you. Do this because you want to “share” and not rip people off with dumb affiliate links.

Don’t write anything (including complements) that you don’t mean because the “tweeple” (twitter community) will sense it and you loose your credibility.

One of the main reasons people fail at social media as an internet marketer is their lack of patience.

Let’s say you open an account, get 1000’s of followers, put up a nice affiliate link in your bio section, and start pitching your business in your tweets. You wonder why nobody cares about what you have to sell. Well…..nobody knows you! That’s why! You’ve gotta give them a chance to get to know you on a personal level. People buy from people who they know, like, and trust. Also, people hate to be sold. You don’t sell (solicit) on social sites because people can sense desperation which is turn off. Instead you share information about a product or service without giving the feeling of obligation to act on your offer.

This post is based on Perry Belcher’s party principle idea of social media.

Unless you’ve been living in a jungle with no internet, you have probably heard of this little social media phenomenon called Twitter.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service, that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters.

Twitter for Lead Generation.

Internet marketing today is all about building a list and generating leads.Using PPC (Pay-Per Click Advertisement ) putting a lead on your list could cost you a ridiculous $5-$10.On the other hand using to Twitter to drive insane traffic to your capture page, website or blog is FREE!So no wonder that using this social media tool made it to the top of many internet marketers’ every day activity.
